Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to scheduled arrival for the standard rooms, 3 days prior to scheduled arrival for the king suites, and 7 days prior to scheduled arrival for the family suites. For last minute cancellations, the credit card will be charged for the full amount.
Smoking:
There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed in any of our rooms. We do have designated outdoor areas for smokers. There will be a $300 fine for any violations.
Booking a Block of Rooms:
Blocking off rooms for an event may be done in advance; however, the blocked rooms must be held individually with your guests’ credit cards by 60 days before the event. If the rooms have not been held with a credit card at that point, the rooms will be released and made available for rent by the public.
Pet Policy:
We gladly welcome dogs at Brook Trout Inn, but cats we do not allow because the owners have allergies to cats.
There is a $30 pet fee, per night per dog. No more than 2 dogs are allowed per room.
If the dog weighs over 75 lbs, the pet fee is $40 per dog per night. We reserve the right to turn away dogs we deem to be dangerous.
The guest is responsible to pay for any damages and/or any additional cleaning required upon departure or during your stay. The amount will be determined by the hotel manager.
We have several dog friendly rooms. They include Stone Cottage, Mountain Life, Pinecone, Fairway, Whitewater King Suite, Nantahala Family Suite, Double Queen Efficiency, and the Upper Apartment Family Suite. Those are all first floor rooms except for the Upper Apartment.
We prefer dogs to not be left alone in the room unattended, but we understand that sometimes needs to happen. If you do leave a dog in the room on its own, please put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on your door, let the front desk manager know (text us if we are not in the office), and make sure we have a contact number in case we need to let you know your dog is barking and disturbing another guest. We will need you to come back to the room immediately to stay with your dog or take your dog with you. There will be an added fee if your dog does any damage to our furniture or bedding.
Dogs must be leashed at all times while on property and guests are responsible for cleaning up pet waste. We have doggy bags and a trash can specifically for pet waste on our property.
